27 Weeks

How far along
27 Weeks (yes I missed last week... oops)

How big is baby
14.4 inches and 2lbs

Weight Gain/Loss
I have no clue, I think I'm done weighing myself. It just irritates me.

Symptoms
Headaches and heartburn are still an issue. My hips have been bothering me too which isn't fun. Also I think my feet/ankles have been swelling up some at night if I've been on my feet a lot.

Maternity clothes
Yep. I ordered a dress from Ingrid and Isabelle which I got in the mail last week, and I'll admit, I was terrified when I was putting it on because its very form fitting, but I felt fantastic in it! I'm planning on wearing it to one of my baby showers and possibly for my maternity photos. Fingers crossed it still fits...

Stretch marks
Nothing yet. I'm really hoping that it stays that way.

Sleep/Mood
Sleep has been pretty terrible lately. I toss and turn and wake up a lot. I will admit that I stayed in bed till 10:30 the day after Christmas and till 9:30 yesterday morning which was fabulous.

Gender
Sweet baby girl

Movement
Still lots of kicking and punching (she kicked hard right when I typed that haha). I've also started to notice when she is flipping/changing positions. Its a very odd feeling like all of my insides are changing place.... but I love it.

Best moment this week
Christmas. Spending time with family is always the best. And the whole week I just kept thinking about how different it will be next year.

Food cravings
Still really in to burgers which has been an ongoing thing for a few months now.

Downs this week
Nothing really other then just feeling very pregnant. I did have a non pregnancy related down. When we were in Virginia visiting Tylers parents I got up to go to the bathroom at 3 am (ok so it is pregnancy related) and proceeded to take a chunk out of my big toe on the edge of a dresser when I was stumbling back to bed. Ouch.

Labor signs
Nope.

Wedding rings on or off
Still on.

Belly button
Still in. I keep waiting for it to pop, but its holding steady.

Nursery
Flooring has finally been ordered and is scheduled for installation! January 10th needs to hurry up. After the floors are done its full steam ahead.

25 Weeks

How far along
25 weeks

How big is baby
13.6 inches and 1.5 lbs

Weight Gain/Loss
I actually havent gained any weight this week.

Symptoms
Headaches and heartburn are a daily struggle. I'm also still feeling growing pains, which at this point I'm sure will just be a weekly symptom.

Maternity clothes
Yup, and some of my maternity shirts are actually getting a little short *sad face*. Ones that I used to be able to wear with leggings now must be worn with jeans because they arent long enough to cover the booty and crotch any more.... lame.

Stretch marks
Still havent noticed any of these.

Sleep/Mood
I've started having weird dreams again like I did in the first trimester and I don't like it. I'm also waking up more to go to the restroom.

Gender
Sweet baby girl

Movement
I've been getting kicked in the ribs lately which is new. I guess she's really doing cartwheels now and flipping all around.

Best moment this week
Getting to see my birth mother Renee. She flew down from Ohio to visit and hang out for the weekend.

Food cravings
Nothing new here. Give me all the food, except chicken. I don't want any chicken.

Downs this week
I've been exhausted this past week, just feeling really pregnant. Which is sad because I still have 15 weeks to go which means I'm just going to get bigger...

Labor signs
Nope.

Wedding rings on or off
Still on.

Belly button
It's still in at this point but looks like it could pop out at any second.

Nursery
I havent done anything nursery wise in the past week or so but I have added more to her closet. Hanna Andersson had a 30% off everything sale going this weekend at the mall so yeah.... I'm glad hubby appreciates well made clothing and he is totally ok with spending a little more on things that will last. Especially if we have more little ones that can get use out of it.

Workouts
Still no "real" workouts. I did a lot of walking the past week though which was good. I've got to start lifting weights again though (I think I say that every week)

Random
I PASSED MY GLUCOSE TEST! So no 3 hour test for this girl, praise Jesus!

24 Weeks

How far along
24 weeks = six months = its getting real

How big is baby
According to my Glow app she is 11.8 inches and 1.3lbs. But I'm betting she is closer to 1.5 lbs since she always measures a little big (but who doesnt love a chunky baby?).

Weight Gain/Loss
Lets just be real here. At this point I'm up almost 30 pounds from my pre-clomid weight, even though I don't think I look like I'm 30 lbs heavier its still not a fun number to see on the scale. I had a melt down about this fact on Friday night. I'm trying to remind myself that I'm growing a human being and as long as she is healthy, I'm healthy and my doctor isn't worried then I shouldn't worry either.

Symptoms
Heartburn is still a daily issue to the point where I should've bought stock in Tums. Also my hips have been killing me this week which isn't fun either.

Maternity clothes
Still trying to pull off a few non-maternity shirts, and I've embraced the fact that I just won't be able to zip up any of my jackets this winter, at least I have lots of scarves to keep my front warm.

Stretch marks
Still nothing that I've noticed. The dark line on my belly is getting more noticeable though, but just from my belly button down.

Sleep/Mood
Sleep is ok I guess. Baby girl wakes me up around 3am every morning kicking away at my bladder though.

Gender
Baby girl, even though I had to explain to two separate male strangers that I am in fact having a girl... They both said they think its a boy because of how low I'm carrying. Yes, I'm carrying low. I'm short and short waisted so of course she is low, there isn't much room for me to carry high.

We got her first monogrammed bow this past weekend and I'm in love. Its huge and I'm obsessed (her initials are hidden because we're keeping her name a secret). Seeing her sweet little initials in lime green made me tear up in the middle of South Park mall like a goon.

Movement
Kicking and flipping up a storm and I love it, I still accidentally giggle or squeal sometimes when she kicks because it catches me off guard.

Best moment this week
Having a few strangers ask when I'm due, its also amazing how sweet people are to a pregnant lady. Also getting to hear her sweet little heartbeat at the doctor on Friday. Feeling her kick is a great feeling, but hearing that strong heart beat is just so reassuring.

Food cravings
I've been really in to pizza lately, not even gonna lie.

Downs this week
See above where I talked about my melt down about my weight. These melt downs are starting to happen about once a week over different things. Sitting on my couch sobbing for no good reason wasn't exactly a high point of my week.

Labor signs
Nothing yet, and praying it stays that way.

Wedding rings on or off
Still on.

Belly button
In, but getting super shallow. I'm nervous about seeing what the inside of my belly button looks like.... it weirds me out.

Nursery
Didn't work in there a lot at all this week. But we did buy knobs for her changing table/vanity from Anthropologie this week. Hubby picked out these beautiful sparrow knobs, and a sweet little fox for the center drawer. I might end up painting them, but I'm not sure. I've got 16 weeks to figure it out

Workouts
Did lots of squats this week, and lots of walking, which is probably why my hips hurt so bad.
Oh well.

On another note, I had my one hour glucose screening on Friday. The orange drink wasnt terrible, I was lucky that it was ice cold which made it easier to drink. I felt fine the first 30 minuets, then sugar stomach set in and all I wanted to do was chug water but no could do. Fingers crossed I passed because I don't know if I can handle the three hour test. I'll find out this week though, so tune in next week for the update on that.

Hope everyone has a great week!

23 Weeks

How far along
23 weeks

How big is baby
11.4 inches, and over a pound

Weight Gain/Loss
I refuse to step on the scale right now.... I really enjoyed Thanksgiving this year.

Symptoms
Heartburn and hip pain out the wazoo.

Maternity clothes
Yup, I did manage to squeeze in to my pre maternity panthers shirt on Saturday though for cousin pictures. Also, go Panthers! The Thanksgiving game against the Cowboys was everything.

Stretch marks
None yet...

Sleep/Mood
Sleep has been ok, except little girl is awake and wiggling/kicking at 3am every morning which is fun

Gender
Baby girl

Movement
Kicking, flipping, punching (I think).

Best moment this week
Tyler felt her kick for the first time this week which was amazing.

Food cravings
Nothing crazy, but man I loved Thanksgiving this year.

Downs this week
I had a mini melt down on Friday night because we have so much to do over the next 4 months...

Labor signs
Nothing yet.

Wedding rings on or off
Still on, but getting tighter at night then I'd like.

Belly button
Still in, but getting more and more shallow. Its also fun seeing my surgery scar that is "hidden" in my belly button, and you can really see my two belly piercing scars... yes I had it pierced multiple times because I'd take it out and want it re-done.

Nursery
We've been working on clearing it out, and Tyler started working on the changing table this week. We found an old vanity at goodwill this past spring and its just been sitting in our garage. I knew I wanted to use it as a changing table if we had a girl so I'm excited to see it when its done.

Workouts
Walked a lot this week, but nothing other then that, per usual this time of year

22 Weeks

How far along
22 weeks... crazy

How big is baby
10.9 in and 15-20oz

Weight Gain/Loss
Up another pound

Symptoms
Headaches still almost daily, and some hip pain.

Maternity clothes
Yup, my favorite piece right now is this sweater from Target. I did however manage to pull off the sweater in the above picture which is a non maternity piece that I've had for a few years. Its not as long now as it was when I used to wear it but whatever, the booty is covered so I wore it with pride.

Stretch marks
None yet... fingers crossed

Sleep/Mood
After sleeping on a pull out couch last friday night, I am more thankful then ever for my tempurpedic and my collection of pillows.

Gender
Baby Girl. Not even ashamed that I ordered a 20 set of bows this weekend. Everyone was posting about this amazing deal and I couldnt pass it up. I just hope she has hair... If not, i'll have to invest in some elastic headbands to clip her bows on.

Movement
She is a kicker for sure. I'm also pretty sure I've felt her flipping around too.

Best moment this week
Just feeling her move. No matter what is going on, a kick or two can make me smile.

Food cravings
Nothing out of the ordinary. I have been jamming on some cowtail candies lately.

Downs this week
It was a rough week emotionally because of the loss of my aunt Sage, so yeah.

Labor signs
Nothing yet, praying it stays that way for at least another 18 weeks.

Wedding rings on or off
Still on

Belly button
Still in, but getting shallow

Nursery
Didn't even go in there this week.... again, it was a stressful week.

Workouts
No actual workouts, but I was on my feet in heels a lot this week which counts as a workout right now in my book.

Sage

Last Tuesday my sweet aunt Sage went to be with Jesus.

She is being laid to rest today next to her mother and father while her family that is still on earth is surrounding her with love.

Sage touched so many lives over the years and will be missed by everyone that was lucky enough to have known her.

Rest in peace, we love you so.

21 Weeks

How far along
21 weeks, 19 to go!

How big is baby
10.5 inches and 12.7oz (but I'm sure our chunk is more like 13oz at this point)

Weight Gain/Loss
We'll just say gain...

Symptoms
Round ligament pain and headaches. I did get a belly support band so I'm hoping that can help with the RL pain. I have an awful sway back (my ballet teachers always fussed at me for it) and this growing belly is only making it worse, so I'm just waiting for the back pain to start.

Maternity clothes
Yes.

Stretch marks
Nothing yet, praise Jesus. Still slathering up with coconut oil, and burts bees belly butter.

Sleep/Mood
Sleep is ok, but its getting more awkward to get comfortable.

Gender
Sweet little girl

Movement
Still kicking like crazy. Mostly first thing in the mornings and in the evening. I'm pretty sure I felt a kick from the outside this week but I'm not 100%. My heartbeat is really strong in my stomach so its hard to tell the difference between kicks and my heartbeat.

Best moment this week
Still basking in the glow of finding out its a girl. I'm so excited for her to grow up with my cousins little girl just like she and I did. They will be best friends for sure.

Food cravings
Pizza.... Give me all the pizza.

Downs this week
This week was actually good. I've felt a million percent better. Having my energy back is amazing.

Labor signs
Nothing yet, praying I give this same report for at least the next 18 weeks.

Wedding rings on or off
Got them on now

Belly button
Still in

Nursery
Not much work has gone on, but girl has clothes out the wazoo already.... we've discovered GoodWill is an AWESOME place to find baby clothes. We've found some name brand stuff (Childrens Place, Gap, etc.) and everything is $1-$2 which makes hubby happy. Also loving the clearance rack at Target.

Workouts
I actually did good this week. Light weights and squats. I also helped with some yard work this weekend, and walked around in heels all day on Saturday. My glutes are still sore!

Monday, November 9, 2015

20 Weeks

How far along
20 weeks! Halfway there!

How big is baby
10 inches and at our ultrasound last Thursday she was measuring around 11 oz (a chunk already)

Weight Gain/Loss
Added another pound to the total...

Symptoms
I almost cried getting out of bed thanks to round ligament pain, its no joke. I've also had headaches almost every day, and heartburn is awesome.... Not.

Maternity clothes
There are a few non maternity shirts I can still fit in but I'm wearing 90% maternity.

Stretch marks
Still haven't noticed any. I do think I'm getting the dark line though. But just under my belly button. And all that does is make me want to go spray tan so I'm dark all over.

Sleep/Mood
Sleeping ok minus the RL pain.

Gender
Its a GIRL

Movement
My suspicion was confirmed at my ultrasound. One foot is low in my belly and the other is a little higher on my left side (she is a dancer already doing a little leg lift). That's where I feel her little kicks, and I love them!

Best moment this week
Finding out Little Foley is a girl! I was so convinced it was a boy that it really caught me off guard, but I couldn't be happier.

Food cravings
Nothing crazy, I still just want hamburger meat for every meal.

Downs this week
None really, I've been too excited about finding out the gender. Well one down, it's getting harder and harder to shave. We have a stall shower with no bench and shaving is turning into a nightmare. I might have to move to the guest bathroom just to use the tub shower.

Labor signs
Nope, nope, nope.

Wedding rings on or off
 Still on

Belly button
In for now

Nursery
The pink is staying! I'm so excited I don't have to re-paint the room that I worked so hard hand painting the walls 5 years ago. I just hope baby girl likes pink.... We also got this giant teddy bear for her. Thanks to my mom for snagging it for us. I've been on the hunt for one for about a month now. Also thanks to Tyler for buckling it in the car so it made it home safe.

Workouts
Not sure why I even have this on here to be honest....

Whats Hap-pinning

Linking up with the ladies today for Whats Hap-pinning

Happy November yall!  Is this year flying by or is it just me?

Well every year on November 1st the husband and I (well I drag him along) hit up the craft store and Walmart for Halloween decor 50-75% off. We also do this the day after Christmas and I'm already getting pumped for that shopping trip as well.

He was even sweet enough to set up our loot so I could snag a picture after we got home. I'll admit we went a little crazy this year because I think in our my head, I know we will be on a tighter budget next year since we'll have a little one, so yeah.

We ended up saving almost $300 at Joann's Fabric and only spent $150. Of course Tyler pointed out we could've saved $450 if we had just stayed home, but oh well! I got lots of crafting goodies, a few strands of Halloween lights, fall wreath material, and my favorite.... my flock of skeleton flamingos. I seriously can not wait to put these up on our front walkway next year!

Hope everyone is having a great week! And I hope wherever you are, that your weather is better then what we're getting in Charlotte. Its been raining all week with no signs of stopping... Boo!!!

One last hap-pinng around these parts... GENDER DAY IS TOMORROW!! I'm so excited I can't stand it! 10am won't get here soon enough, I'm just hoping I can actually get some sleep tonight because tomorrow is gonna be a busy day :)

Boy or Girl? Boots or Bows?

I've been wondering what our sweet Little Foley will be since the moment I found out I was pregnant.

Of course everyone keeps asking "what do you want?".... umm "a healthy baby?" I figure we have a 50/50 chance on a boy or a girl haha, as long as its healthy I'll be happy. However I've thought it was a boy from day one while Tyler thinks its a girl. Then my whole family thinks its a boy, my mother in law is convinced its a girl, and my sister in law is team boy.

We will finally find out on Thursday and I'm so excited I can't stand it. I was actually tempted to make an appointment at a 3D ultrasound clinic just to find out the sex last month, but seeing that we had plans every single weekend, there was just no time.

Most of the old wives' tales point towards girl but we'll see!!

Don't forget to cast your vote in the sidebar poll!

We actually have our hospital tour tonight, I'm nervous and excited at the same time.  Its getting more and more real by the day. I am excited because my BFF is actually a LD nurse at the hospital I'll be delivering at so if I have any questions, she's my go to girl!

Then next on the list is signing up for birthing classes and infant CPR.... Ahh so much to do!

19 Weeks

 How far along
19 weeks, almost halfway

How big is baby
6in and 8.5oz, the size of a cute little mango

Weight Gain/Loss
Up one more pound this week

Symptoms
Still round ligament pain... Its not fun at all.

Maternity clothes
Yup, still hanging on to my non maternity tank tops but they are getting shorter and shorter by the day.

Stretch marks
Haven't noticed any yet. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Sleep/Mood
Sleep is good. Mood is up and down, aka mood swings....

Gender
We will know Thursday! Vote in the side bar

Movement
On the daily now. It still loves being in the car because it goes nuts any time I'm in the car. Its my kid for sure.

Best moment this week
The first real "that was definantly baby kicking and not gas" happened when we were in bed and Tyler fell asleep with his hand on my belly and baby went crazy kicking right where Tyler's hand was.

Food cravings
I havent had any real "cravings", I've been telling people that its more like a "omg this is the best *whatever* I've ever eaten"

Downs (This used to be "missing anything" but I've decided to re-word it
Bathroom trips every 5 minuets! We drove to the mountains on Saturday and it was almost unbearable

Labor signs
Nope, nope, nope.

Wedding rings on or off
Got them on right now

Belly button
In but looking weirder by the day

Nursery
Tyler made my week when he moved my desk out of the nursery and also moved the dog crates from the nursery to the den. Not even gonna lie, I cried when I got home that day and saw all the hard work he had put in. I'm a lucky girl to call him mine.

Workouts
Failed in this category again. I feel like I'm never going to work out again. When we were in Hendersonville this weekend we passed a 9 round and man I miss that place. I hated it every time I was there, but a good butt kicking a few times a week was great.

What's Hap-Pinning

Linking up today with Jessi and Jenn for What's Hap-pinning!

I went brunette last week and I'm loving it! Don't get me wrong I love being a blonde but dark hair is just sooooo much easier.

This past week has also been baby heavy. We started our registry on Saturday and walking around BuyBuyBaby was overwhelming to say the least. We have an appointment to go back next week to have a "expert" help us out. My researching and googling is getting out of control so I figure I need to just talk to someone that knows what they're talking about.

Some big things that we already have locked down that we want are:

Baby Jogger City Select Stroller with the bassinet add on.

The Chicco Nextfit Zip. Tyler picked this car seat out months ago because he said it looks like a pod of safety... And after researching I'd have to agree haha.

I also think I've narrowed our monitor search down to the following two options. Any input from moms out there is greatly appreciated!
Motorola MBP33

Summer wide view

Last baby thing! We find out next week if we're having a boy or girl so go vote on what you think on the poll in the side bar!

Ok enough baby stuff for now. On to a few pins from Hubbys board this last week

We're on the downswing of the week! Hope everyone enjoys the last few days of October!

18 Weeks

How far along
18 weeks!

How big is baby
5.6 in and 6.7oz and the size of a sweet potato.

Weight Gain/Loss
Holding steady in this department. My doctor isnt worried though because of my initial 10lb weight gain the first month haha.

Symptoms

Round ligament pain is the bane of my existence right now. I actually had a minor freak out last week because the cramping was so bad so I made a last minuet doctors appointment which turned into the fast appointment ever. Got to hear baby's heart beat (still in the 150's), and was reassured that its just my uterus growing. My mother in law then reminded me that Tyler was 10lbs when he was born so in other words I'm growing a monster, so "growing pains" are bound to happen. Yay.

Maternity clothes
Yes, yes and yes. I'm loving wrap front sweaters right now. None of my zip up jackets actually zip anymore so the wrap fronts are great for snuggling up in my freezing office during the day.

Stretch marks
None so far. I also just read that coconut oil is a good moisturizer for a growing belly so I'll be adding that to my nighttime regimen.

Sleep/Mood
Sleep has been good lately. I'm still taking unisom and B6 every night (which I've been taking since clomid hell round one for nausea) which knocks me out and helps me sleep through the night.

Gender
9 days!

Movement
I'll randomly feel baby when I'm driving. Its gonna be like its momma and love spending time in the car evidently. Or it could just be dancing to the music that I usually have cranked up way to loud for a 28 year old mother to be.

Best moment this week
Starting our registry! Its in the EARLY stages but watching Tyler walk around BuyBuy Baby scanning things was adorable.

Food cravings
Nothing to crazy here. Salt and vinegar chips have been my go to lately though.

Missing anything
Not really, just some of my non-maternity fall clothes.

Labor signs
Nope, nope, nope.

Wedding rings on or off
Still on. A little loose like usual in the mornings, but they do tend to get a little snug as the day goes on. Nothing unbearable though.

Belly button
Still in

Nursery
Didn't do a single thing in there this week. Mommy fail.

Workouts
Yeah about that...

Wednesday, October 21, 2015

What's Hap-Pinning

Happy hump day!! Linking up today with Jessi and Jenn for What's Hap-pinning

I have a hair appointment today (hallelujah!) so I've been on a "hair ideas" pinning/googling spree. I'm going dark for the winter so lots of chocolate/auburn. I'm obsessed!

And this last one is my favorite

I'm also planning on cutting a few inches off my hair. As much as I love it, it's looking scraggly. I'm loving this long layers.

And just because. Here are a few pins from Hubby's pinterest

I loved pinky and the brain!! And that dog, to die for.

His caption "and this is why all the husbands leave as soon as dinner is over"... True story.

He knows the way to my heart

He pinned this because he knew it would make me mad haha. He is one of those "oh it's 9pm and I just realized I haven't eaten yet" people... I am the opposite.

Hope everyone is having a great week!!
