Lillian: Four Months

Height: 23.5 inches (13%)

Weight: 15 lbs 5.6 oz (74%) Yup you read that right... she is short and fat!

Diaper Size: Still in size threes

Clothing size: 3-6 months on most things, a few 6 month items fit (width wise at least haha)

Nicknames: Bug is the one we use the most, or squiggle worm

Health: Perfect, I'm thinking shes got her daddy's immune system thank the Lord

Sleep: Still sleeping like a champ! She goes down between 9-10 and sleeps till 7:30-9am. I generally let her sleep till she wakes up on her own unless we have something planned where we need to be on a solid schedule for the day. She also usually takes 2 naps a day. One in the morning and one mid afternoon. She sometimes takes little cat naps around 6 but not every day.

Eating: We are 100% on formula now which I've come to terms with. She gets 8oz bottles every 4 hours during the day. We also usually do a 6oz bottle around 7:30pm and her last 2oz around 8:30pm. I feel like thats easier on her tummy then a full 8oz right before bed.

Favorites: This month she LOVED blowing bubbles. All day every day. For a while she basically gave up cooing/talking for bubbles... which drove me nuts because she would spit everywhere haha. Thankfully by the end of the month she is back to giggling and talking up a storm. Toys she is loving are her rattles and exersaucer. She is a busy little thing!

Llillian: Three Months

Height: 23 inches (or at least thats what I got when I measured her, no doctors visit this month so I'm not 100% sure)
Weight: 14 lbs
Diaper Size: We just moved up to size threes. We ran out of twos and while the threes are a tiny bit too big they work
Clothing size: She is still in some 0-3 month things and some 3-6 month things. I'm trying to dress her in all of her 0-3 month outfits over the next week or so to make sure we wore them all haha
Nicknames: Little bit, honey bun, wiggle worm, Lilly bug
Health: this past month we did have to make a "sick kid" trip but it was just for an infected nail bed. We still love her doctor and are so glad that we stuck with her.
Sleep: Lilly sleeps like a champ. She usually wakes up between 7-9am (it depends on when she fell asleep the night before). Then is awake for the day taking a few catnaps here and there. Sometimes she will take longer naps but not every day. She then goes down for the night between 8-10 (this depends on the nap situation during the day).
Eating: Home girl is a hungry hungry hippo. She eats every 3 hours during the day and has 6oz at each feeding. At night before bed sometimes instead of 6oz we will just give her 2-4oz depending on how she is acting. Also over the past month my supply of breast milk has steadily decreased and I'm now only pumping 2x a day and she gets 2oz of breast milk during her lunch time feeding. The rest of the time she gets Earths Best organic formula and loves it.
Favorites: Lilly's favorite toy right now is her stuffed elephant rattle that Nana got for her, and she still loves her lamb paci. She loves chit chats with Tyler when he gets home from work, and a new thing we've started at night is she gets to lay in our bed with us for a little bit before we lay her down in her bassinet. She just giggles and chats up a storm the whole time.

Lillian: Two Months

This is a week late but the info/pictures are right!

Lilly's second month of life was good one. She is growing like a weed! The girl loves to eat and sleep which is great. We've had to supplement more with formula but she is still getting 2-3 bottles a day of the good old fashion boob milk. At her two month appointment we found out she is short and chunky and perfect. On the way to the scale the sweet nurse said she bet that Lilly was over 10lbs, I laughed because she broke 10lbs before she hit a month old. At two months she was 12lbs 10oz, 22 inches long. 81% for weight and only 30% for height.... like I said, short and chunky.

Some nicknames we call her are Little bit, honey bun, pop-tart, chunkster, and baby girl.
She loves to smile and giggle, and the girl LOVES to talk.
She sleeps through the night and loves being in her bassinet or crib. If its passed her bed time (9pm) she will fuss and want to be laid down. She usually will sooth herself to sleep by sucking her thumb and talking to her self.
She hates tummy time now, and prefers to be sitting up so she can look around. We do out best though and do tummy time a few times a day.
Lilly has a strong grip and will grab and hold on to her paci and can even get it back in her mouth on her own if she pops it out on accident.
Baths are her second favorite time of the day (other then bed time), she just sits and coo's and would soak in the tub all night if we let her.

She honestly is such a laid back, easy baby. She does have her moments where she will scream for no reason, but they are few and far between. We are LUCKY!!

Happy two months on earth little one!

Lillian: One Month

I can't believe it's already been a month since this perfect little girl made her dramatic entrance in to the world.

While the past 4 weeks have been filled with lots of sleepless nights, diaper changes, and tears from her and me, it's been amazing. Watching her grow every day is such a blessing.

We'll find out tomorrow exactly how much she has grown but I'm pretty sure she is over 10 pounds at this point and getting chunkier by the day.

She loves being held, but also loves being in her snugapuppy. Tummy time actually is a breeze and she can already hold her head up like a champ. Sleeping on Tyler's chest is her favorite thing ever.

She eats like a line backer which to my disappointment has meant we've had to supplement a bottle or two a day with formula. But in my opinion a fed baby is a happy baby no matter how she is being fed. Speaking of, our breastfeeding journey only lasted two weeks. Due to issues with latching/etc I've been exclusively pumping for the past two weeks. Which has been challenging but I will do it as long as I can. I still say she is breastfed, just not directly, she is getting my milk, it just happens to come out of a bottle. She is happy and healthy and I'm a happier/less stressed momma so it's win win.

She also smiles a lot, especially in her sleep which is adorable. Another thing she does in her sleep is grunt and groan like a little pig. And while she's awake she is a happy little thing 75% of the time. But when she's mad, she lets everyone know. We call her baby eagle because when she cries she screams like a baby eagle. It's ear piercing and very scary at 2am when you're not expecting it.

Happy one month birthday little girl!!

38 Weeks

How far along
Today I am 38 weeks and 2 days.... 12 days to go....

How big is baby
Around 19.6 inches, probably around 7 (maybe a little more) pounds.

Weight Gain/Loss
No clue, probably gained.

Symptoms
I'm basically miserable 24/7, hip pain, lower back pain, braxton hicks, pelvic pressure, indigestion, if its a pregnancy symptom... i've got it at this point.

Maternity clothes
Yup, I also got a few nursing bra's and tank tops this week.

Stretch marks
Still just the few on my sides.

Sleep/Mood
Sleep sucks and I've been pretty emotional, not even gonna lie.

Gender
Baby girl

Movement
A whole lot of stretching going on on her part, she's running out of room for big kicks.

Best moment this week
Same as last week. Just getting to hear her heartbeat is the best thing ever until I get to hold her.

Food cravings
Nothing really, I haven't been as hungry this week.

Downs this week
Exhaustion and constant pain. Tyler has also been sick which isn't fun. I'm trying my best to stay away from him. I don't need whatever cold germs he's got.

Labor signs
Just lots of braxton hicks

Wedding rings on or off
Today was the first day I didn't put them on... I tried to this morning and they were already tight.

Belly button
Still kinda in

Nursery
I have officially washed every article of baby clothes we have... We're ready for you baby girl!

37 Weeks

I didn't really get dressed... I did have on jeans but that is a tshirt I squeezed in to and a tank top I've had for years. Gotta save my maternity clothes for days I'm actually going out in public.

How far along
37 weeks, well technically today I'm 37 weeks 2 days.

How big is baby
I'm guessing she is around 6.5-7 lbs at this point, and around 19.1 inches long.

Weight Gain/Loss
Gained... Duh.

Symptoms
Hip pain is awful, when I stand up, well really when I move at all I feel like my hips are just going to fall apart. The heartburn is pretty crappy lately too.

Maternity clothes
Yup (minus the weekends when I just wear whatever I can squeeze in to).
Can I change this to "baby clothes"? I made little girl a hat to wear on her trip home from the hospital. I'd never made this style bow, but it turned out cute I think. And the plan is to put her name on a white onesie in light pink to match.

Stretch marks
Same as last week, I haven't noticed anything new and I'm counting my blessings on that one.

Sleep/Mood
I'm lucky to get a total of about 4 hours a night... Up and down to pee, roll over, kick off the covers, etc.

Gender
Baby girl

Movement
Lots of wiggles, jumps, stretches, hiccups, punches, and rolls. She is running out of room quickly!

Best moment this week
Getting to hear her heartbeat. Its always such a reassurance that everything is going good. I'm excited I'll get to hear it every week till she arrives.

Food cravings
Milkshakes have been a big part of my life this week.

Downs this week
Still feeling exhausted all the time. As much as I want to get stuff done just the thought of going to Target makes me want to take a nap, thank you online shopping.

Labor signs
I've had a few "real" contractions which aren't fun.

Wedding rings on or off
Still on. But they get tight throughout the day....

Belly button
Actually still partially in. I don't know if it will ever actually pop.

Nursery
This weekend I put up her clothes. They've been washed and separated into sizes in her closet storage bins for a while but I finally pulled out all her 0-3 month clothes and put them in her dresser drawers for easy access. So many cute onesies that I can't wait to dress her in!

It's not in the nursery, but we got her car seat installed! My car is officially a mom mobile now and I love it! Also, watching Tyler install it made my heart melt... not even gonna lie.
